A mermaid’s song is a lonely one…
but is this sea loving beauty actually a mermaid? I’ll leave up to you..

This piece features a hand-embroidered illustration of a beauty emerging from a stitched ocean on white linen/cotton mix. The sea is stitched with shades of blue,purples and pinks.

The text is also hand embroidered in metallic gold thread.Some details have been enhanced with coloured pencil touches.
